Rey Fénix to Challenge Laredo Kid for AAA World Cruiserweight Title on 5/23 AAA Show

WWE Superstar Rey Fénix is set for a huge title match in Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide next Saturday.
On tonight’s episode, the promotion announced that Laredo Kid will defend the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship against Rey Fénix on Saturday, May 23. Fénix defeated Kid in a non-title singles match earlier this month.

Kid is a two-time World Cruiserweight Champion. He is currently in his second reign, which stands at 526 days.
Meanwhile, Fénix is a former AAA World Cruiserweight Champion. He held the title for 394 days before relinquishing it in July 2023.
