Former Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley is currently sporting a black mask on her face on WWE television.

This is due to the nose injury the Australian suffered while wrestling at a WWE SuperShow in Japan last month. After missing several episodes of RAW, Rhea Ripley finally returned to weekly programming on the November 10 episode of the red brand’s show.

Following last night’s SmackDown, where Rhea and her WarGames teammates were laid out by The Kabuki Warriors, Lash Legend, Nia Jax, and Becky Lynch, a fan took to X to claim that Ripley is wearing the black mask “just for decoration.”

“Rhea funny as hell. She know that mask is just for decoration,” a fan wrote.

Ripley soon caught wind of the accusation and replied:

“Wish my nose got that memo!”

Last night’s SmackDown was headlined by the participants of the upcoming Women’s WarGames Match at Survivor Series. After Charlotte Flair agreed to team up with Ripley and Co., AJ Lee was revealed as the fifth member of the babyface team. However, just as AJ’s music hit and she came out, Jax, Lash, Asuka, and Kairi Sane attacked the babyfaces in the ring.

As Lee stormed toward the ring, Becky Lynch blindsided The Black Widow. After the heels annihilated Rhea and Co., Lynch entered the ring and shook Asuka’s hand, confirming herself as the fifth member of Team Asuka.
