Singles Match Announced For Next Week’s WWE Smackdown

WWE has announced a singles match for next week’s episode of WWE Smackdown. It was announced on Friday night’s show that The Miz will take on Axiom next week.

The match was set up with a backstage segment where Cathy Kelley was interviewing The Miz and Kit Wilson. Kelly asked about what might be in Danhausen’s laboratory, prompting a dismissive response from The Miz.

That was followed by Fraxiom walking in, and Axion said that Miz is having bad things happen because Danhausen’s curse might be real. Miz felt disrespected and challenge Axion to a match next week, which Axiom accepted.

WWE Smackdown takes place next Friday from Olimpic Arena in Barcelona, Spain. The show will air live overseas via Netflix and on tape delay in the United States via USA Network.

Miz vs. Axiom is the only match announced thus far. 411 will have live coverage of the USA Network airing.
