Smackdown Rating Leaps For Post-WrestleMania Episode, Best Viewership In a Year
– Smackdown jumped a strong number for its post-WrestleMania episode and scored the best audience in a year. Tuesday’s episode brought in a 0.98 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and 2.952 million viewers. Those numbers are up 24% and 19% from last week’s 0.79 demo rating and 2.467 million viewers. The rating was the best since the March 20th episode had a 0.99 demo rating, which was the episode where Daniel Bryan announced that he was returning to the ring. Meawhile, the audience was the highest since a year ago today, when the April 11th episode was the last to top three million viewers at 3.105 million.
Smackdown easily won the night among cable originals per Showbuzz Daily, beating out TBS’ The Last OG (0.58 million viewers, 1.516 million viewers).
