Australian professional wrestler Steph De Lander has returned to in-ring competition with a bang.
On Saturday, March 14, at ACW Aftershock, De Lander competed in a three-way match against Indi Hartwell and J-Rod for the ACW Women’s Championship. She emerged victorious in her comeback bout and became the second-ever ACW Women’s Champion. The previous champion, Indi Hartwell, held the title for 302 days.
This was Steph de Lander’s first match in over 18 months. She last competed on the August 3, 2024, taping of TNA iMPACT, where she teamed up with Kon and Madman Fulton to take on PCO, Rhino, and Xia Brookside in a losing cause.
De Lander has been in the news lately. Earlier this month, she announced her exit from TNA Wrestling, bringing an end to her three-year stint with the promotion. Steph subsequently revealed during interviews with news outlets that she decided to leave TNA after the company didn’t allow her to wrestle owing to her previous neck injuries. She revealed that she went to WWE’s spinal surgeon for the surgeries and recently received medical clearance to compete.
In another interview with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, she revealed how much time was left on her TNA contract. You can check those comments HERE.
