Teddy Long Shares His Advice to Ricky Starks Regarding AEW

– During a recent edition of Sportskeeda WrestleBinge, WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long discussed Ricky Starks’ current status with AEW. Teddy Long shared his advice for the former AEW Tag Team Champion.

Long said on Starks (via WrestlingInc.com), “Here’s what Ricky Starks needs to understand — he’s under contract. They’re paying you, so just wait until they get ready. That’s all you got to do.” Long continued, “Just while you’re off, get in the gym. Keep yourself in shape, you know what I mean? Stay ready, so when you do get that call, you’re ready to go.”

As previously reported, AEW picked up an additional year on Starks’ AEW contract, which extended his deal through the summer of 2025.
