Tessa Blanchard sent some positive vibes to her former colleagues in TNA ahead of tonight’s Slammiversary PPV. Blanchard posted to Twitter on Sunday afternoon just before the show started to comment on the PPV and wish everyone there success.

Blanchard wrote in the post:

“Wishing everyone at Slammiversary the very best tonight. It’s a huge night for the company and for everyone who’s worked so hard to make it happen.

Looking back, one of my favorite memories will always be Sami and I making history as the first-ever intergender PPV main event. It’s a match I’ll always be proud of and one I’ll never forget.

Have an incredible show.”

As noted, Blanchard was granted her release from TNA earlier this month. She later confirmed that her exit was due to her needing to choose between TNA and CMLL.

As Tessa Blanchard noted, she battled Sami Callihan in an intergender match in the main event of TNA Slammiversary 2019. She is a former TNA Knockouts World Champion, as well as a former TNA World Champion.
