The Rock Says He Had a Great Time at WWE WrestleMania XL

The Rock’s plans for WrestleMania XL shifted before he joined forces with Roman Reigns to defeat Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins on the first night. The Rock also hinted at a potential match with Rhodes during the post-WrestleMania episode of Raw and his most recent appearance was at Bad Blood.

While appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon (per Fightful), The Rock talked about his upcoming appearance at Mania.

“I had such a great time. Cody and Seth and Roman, it was just wild. I grew up in that world of pro wrestling. There’s nothing like when that music hits and the crowd goes crazy. [Fallon said it feels like The Rock is home when he’s performing]. That’s a good way to put it. I grew up in the world of pro wrestling, and I followed the careers of my grandfather and my dad. My grandfather and my dad used to wrestle up here at [Madison Square Garden] in the ‘70s, and here I come along, not trying to screw anything up with their legacy. Then all of a sudden, the business has grown into what it’s grown into. TKO now owns WWE, and I have the honor of sitting on the board of TKO. What a full-circle moment. It’s crazy. I started with seven bucks, and now… [Fallon said it’s not], now it’s not seven bucks [laughs],” The Rock said.
