The Wrestling 5&1 7.12.14 Eva Marie vs Renee Young

July 12, 2014 | Posted by Tony Acero

When is Battleground? One week? Nuts! Anyway, long time followers of the column know that there were random weeks or two throughout the year that were all polls. It was equal part time saving and reader interaction. This week, I was ready to do an extensive piece about Kevin Dunn and his proposed cancerous ways within the WWE, but after a few hours of research, I’m still not sure where or what i want to say about the guy without sounding like every other person on forums all over the internet. With that being said, we’re going to do a two week gig here where this week, I ask a few questions about the current product, and next we talk about the results. Feel free to not only answer the question, but pose your reasoning below.

We touched on this last week in detail. There have been quite a few debuts this year on the main roster as well as those who were signed – including today with the signing of KENTA. Some have already tasted success whereas some have yet to touch the ring within the WWE, but there is no mistaking that there has been an influx of new talent for us to see. Who, if any, of these would be mega-stars will reach the top of the WWE (be it World Heavyweight Title or actual success as a Divas Champion? (Thanks Billy Gunn’s Push for the edit 😉 )

I think that as much as we love the product, there will ALWAYS be some complaints, but in the last five to ten years, the complaints seem to be very similar. Whether it’s the commentary, lack of belief in any one superstar, the simple existence of John Cena, or a combination of all of the above, there is seemingly always something that is consistent within the IWC in regards to what could make the product easier. I’m wondering what YOU think is the major cause of our dislike for the product at times.
