Thunder Rosa on the ‘Dark Moments’ She Faced During Her Injury Layoff

– During Busted Open Radio, AEW star and former Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa discussed how she had to overcome various personal and professional issues in her battle to return to the ring. She stated on the subject (via WrestlingInc.com), “This is how the universe works. You have to either take it and run with it, or you take it and then sink with it, and I did not want to sink. … There [were] a lot of dark moments, but with the help of people that care for me, with the help of therapists and psychiatrists, … I’m here and Saturday’s going to be the day.”

Thunder Rosa is finally returning to the ring on Saturday at AEW Collision. She will team with Abadon against TBS Champion Julia Hart and Skye Blue. The show is being held at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas. It will be broadcast live on TNT at 8:00 pm EST.
