August 18, 2008 | Posted by Larry Csonka

– The TNA Hard Justice PPV, from the Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, NJ drew 3,500 in paid attendance. TNA will no longer paper PPV events, as they feel that it is bad for business in the long term.

– Advances for the TNA tour of the UK are reported as very strong, and at this point they will be the biggest crowds in the history of the company.

– Shelly Martinez (Salinas from LAX) will be in a reality show in the fall called “America’s Sex Symbol.” The show will air on FOX.

The below news item contains future booking plans, consider this a spoiler warning:

– The company is looking to do a new version of the “New Blood vs. Millionaires Club” angle from WCW. The early plan is for Kevin Nash to turn on Samoa Joe and align himself with Booker T, Kurt Angle and Sting. Team 3D could fit into the program, but it all depends on if they re-sign with the company. They would claim that they paved the way for the ungrateful newcomers, who will be led by Samoa Joe and AJ Styles.
