Triple H Comments On Cody Rhodes’ Win At Saturday Night’s Main Event
Cody Rhodes retained the Undisputed WWE Championship at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, and Triple H commented on the win after the show. Rhodes defeated Drew McIntyre to retain the championship at last night’s event. He picked up the win by DDT’ing McIntyre into the championship title after McIntyre brought it into the ring.
The tactic may have been slightly less than honorable, but Triple H apparently didn’t see an issue with it. He posted to Twitter to comment, writing:
“A true champion always finds a way to win. Congrats @CodyRhodes! #SNME”
No word on who Rhodes may defend the title against next. His title reign stands at 91 days, having won it from John Cena at SummerSlam.
WWE’s next big event is Survivor Series. The PLE takes place on November 29th from Petco Park in San Diego, California. It will air live on the ESPN app.
