Triple H Says He Would Use His ‘Cerebral Assassin’ Nickname for Roman Reigns

Triple H believes that Roman Reigns is one of the greatest thinkers in the pro wrestling business and is worthy of being called The Cerebral Assassin, a nickname he was bestowed upon by legendary commentator Jim Ross during his in-ring career.
Reigns returned to WWE programming for the first time since Survivor Series: WarGames at today’s Royal Rumble and secured a world championship match for himself at WrestleMania by winning the 30-man Battle Royal.
Reigns entered the match at number 26 and quickly asserted his dominance. He eliminated The Miz, Jey Uso, Jacob Fatu, and Logan Paul to set a one-on-one encounter with Gunther, who was fresh off retiring AJ Styles. He eventually tossed Gunther out of the ring to punch his ticket to WrestleMania 42.
Triple H spoke about Roman’s victory at the Royal Rumble Post Show and gave him the aforementioned nickname. However, he was unsure about Reigns’ next appearance on WWE television, stating that the Tribal Chief does things on his own time.
“He is one of the most strategic and well-thought-out individuals in this business right now. I was given a nickname, Cerebral Assassin, by Jim Ross. It would be a name I would use for Roman Reigns. One of the greatest thinkers in this business,” Triple H said.

While it’s unclear which WWE World Champion Roman will target at WrestleMania 42, PWInsider is reporting that WWE is interested in a program between him and World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk at this year’s Show of Shows. You can check out the report HERE.
