As previously noted, there have been some questions on whether or not United States President and WWE Hall of Famer Donald Trump will attend the final match of John Cena in December. Cena will wrestle the last match of his career at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13 in Washington, DC. However, former WWE Superstar Tyrus is convinced that President Trump will attend the event live in person.

Speaking to TMZ Sports Inside the Ring for a recent interview, the former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion and Fox News commentator said on President Donald Trump going to Cena’s last match, “Oh, the president? 1000%. If he says he’s going, he’s going. It’s in DC.” Tyrus added, “And that’s not by no mistake. He might even be in the finish.”

Tyrus continued on Trump potentially appearing at WWE SNME, “He might hit a binding resolution in the middle of that match, but I definitely think that if the president says he’s going to be there, he’s going to be there because he’s a fan. He loves it.”

When host Branson Quirke said his co-host thinks it would be a “bad look” for Trump to attend the event, Tyrus responded, “Bad look for who?” He went on, “Here’s the thing, you take all you take all the the whiny baby, ‘I hate the President–,’ all that crap, many years from now when we’re all old and gray, and all this this media bull**** is over, there’s going to be a grandchild who’ll be like, ‘Daddy, did you did you talk with the president?’ I said, ‘I didn’t talk with him, I broke bread with him,’ you know? And there’s going to be someone who says, ‘I remember where I was there when John Cena and the President of the United States were there.'”

Tyrus explained the significance of the President of the United States taking time to watch John Cena perform in his last match. He stated, “That’s not a small thing. Now, the media and the way the world is right now, we’ve minimized the importance of something like that. The most powerful man in the world is there to see you wrestle. Whether you like him, good, bad, or indifferent or not, historically, that is something that you will — that is a feather in your cap that you will carry with you for the rest of — The man who makes decisions, the heartbeat of this planet took time to sit down and watch you perform. It’s something that no one can ever take away from you.”

It was previously reported by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that President Donald Trump will be attending the Army vs. Navy football game at M&T Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland, rather than Cena’s last WWE match.

Regardless of President Trump’s attendance, John Cena’s last match takes place on WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event in our nation’s capital at the Capital One Arena. It will air live on Peacock in the U.S. and on Netflix internationally.
