Update On Aubrey Edwards’ AEW Contract Status

A new report has an update on Aubrey Edwards’ contract status with AEW. As reported, AEW ended the AEW Unrestricted podcast this past week, of which Edwards and Will Washington were co-hosts. It was reported on Friday that Edwards is still “firmly” under contract to the company.

Fightful Select posted a new update to the report on Sunday. The report notes a source in AEW has confirmed that the company planned or hoped to sign Edwards to a new deal a long time back. The report notes that Edwards is still under her old deal and the company wants to keep her on a long term basis.

Edwards has been with AEW since September of 2019. In addition to her work as a referee and podcast host, she has also worked behind the scenes in AEW’s video game department due to her past as a producer in the video game industry.

No word on when Aubrey Edwards’ current contract is set to expire.
