Update On Britney Abrahams’ Lawsuit Against WWE

Britney Abrahams’ lawsuit against WWE is still ongoing, per a new report. As had been reported, Abrahams filed to dismiss her lawsuit alleging the company discriminated and retaliated against her for complaints about racist scripts earlier this month. However, it appears that the dismissal was not against all parties as PWInsider reports that WWE is still a defendant in the suit and that Abrahams’s motion to dismiss was specifically against the other parties including Vince McMahon and Stephanie McMahon.

WWE and Abrahams filed a joint motion on August 25 asking the court to extend WWE’s due date to respond to the lawsuit. WWE has until November 3rd to respond.

Abrahams filed suit back in April claiming that he and other executives discriminated and retaliated against her after she spoke out against “offensively racist and stereotypical jargon” in relation to stars like Bianca Belair, Apollo Crews, Mansoor, and others. Abrahams said her complaints were ignored and she was later fired.
