Roman Reigns and CM Punk delivered an all-time classic last night in the main event of WrestleMania 42 Sunday, proving why they are the top dogs of the industry today.

It was a match built on the two wrestlers having pure hatred for each other, and they showcased that to the hilt by not giving an inch and laying it all out in the ring. Both imitated each other’s finishers, unleashed brutality with ruthless precision, trash-talked all the way through, and never let the intensity drop for a moment. In the end, though, Roman’s claim that Punk was “old” was proven right, as the defending champ failed to nail what could have been the decisive GTS and just collapsed, paving the way for the OTC to put him away with back-to-back Spears and take home the World Heavyweight Championship.

Given the match was an all-time classic, fans immediately wondered who produced it. According to BodySlam+, Michael Hayes and Bobby Roode, who also produced Saturday’s main event between Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton, were listed on the rundown as the producers for the match. Additionally, sources indicate that Paul Heyman was also a producer of the match.

Meanwhile, at the WrestleMania 42 Sunday Post-Show, Roman Reigns said that he would be on WWE TV all summer. The newly crowned World Heavyweight Champion also spoke about Oba Femi, who called him out earlier in the show. You can check out his comments HERE.
