– Will Ospreay recently reflected on his epic G1 Climax 32 bout against Shingo Takagi from August 2022. The match saw Takagi pick up the victory. In a post on social media, Ospreay noted he was incredibly ill during the match. Nonetheless, he and Takagi still put together an incredible contest.
Clipping an incredible back-and-forth sequence, a fan wrote, “This is one of those once-in-a-lifetime sequences; the speed and timing are insane. Takagi and Ospreay’s NJPW classics will never be replicated; a unique chemistry worthy of one of the best NJPW matches of all time. #AEW #NJPW” AEW star Will Ospreay later wrote in response, “I was extremely ill during this match.”
Kazuchika Okada ultimately defeated Will Ospreay in the finals of the tournament to win the G1 Climax 32.
