As previously reported, AEW and ROH wrestler Willie Mack was moved to a “tier zero” contract after being under a salaried deal for a while. The “tier zero” contract is described as a “paid-per-appearance” deal. Mack started making a buzz on social media this week after writing that he was about to become homeless “because the booker doesn’t think he’s worth the money.”

Mack wrote yesterday, “When ya boy is about to become a homeless superhero because the booker doesn’t think he’s worth the money. #WhereTheBestWrestle It’s like for 2 years straight I’d call every week and ask if you got anything for me? You signed, right? You still getting paid, right? I want to wrestle.”

Earlier today, PWInsider reported that Mack’s AEW deal expired and that he was offered a new contract, but turned it down “some time ago.” However, Mack, who hasn’t wrestled in AEW/ROH since December, denied that’s the case.

Regarding the rumor from PWInsider, Mack responded, “When did I turn it down?” He posted that along with a GIF that says, “Wrong.” You can view his latest comments on the report below.

Willie Mack hasn’t appeared on AEW programming since a March 2025 edition of Collision, where he lost to Wheeler Yuta.
