Kevin Nash noted that the 30th anniversary of the nWo’s formation at Bash at the Beach is a bit sad for him, as he’s the last one standing. As noted, Tuesday marked 30 years since the fateful PPV where Hulk Hogan turned heel and joined Hall and Nash, proclaiming the “new world order of wrestling.” That founding of the nWo helped changed the direction of wrestling in the 1990s and well beyond.
Nash posted to Instagram to reflect on the anniversary, sharing a pic of the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida which put up a graphic to commemorate the moment. The WCW and WWE alumnus wrote:
“Saw this on the marquee in front of the Ocean Center today. 30 years ago, we created a piece of magic. Today, I felt sadness. Scott and Hulk have moved on. R.I.P NWO”
Hall passed away in March of 2022, while Hogan passed in July of last year.
