WWE Smackdown Rating, Viewership Edge Down

– The rating and viewership for this week’s episode of Smackdown were down slightly from last week heading into Backlash. Tuesday night’s episode brought in a 0.77 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and 2.436 million viewers. Those are down 4% each from last week’s 0.8 demo rating and audience of 2.549 million. The rating was the lowest since the March 6th episode had a 0.75, while the audience was the smallest since all the way back on October 31st when it saw 2.119 million tune in.
Smackdown ranked #4 among cable originals for the night per Showbuzz Daily. It ranked behind two NBA Playoff games (2.18 rating/5.562 million viewers and 2.11/5.587 million) and the post-games show on TNT (0.95/2.332 million).
