WWE SmackDown Ratings, Viewership Up For Crown Jewel Fallout
Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics has the viewership details for Friday’s edition of WWE SmackDown on FOX, which featured the return of the show to its flagship network after airing on FS1 the prior week. SmackDown notched 2.249 million viewers, which is up five percent from its previous episode on FOX.
In the key 18 to 49 demographic, SmackDown posted as a 0.58 rating with 759,000 viewers, and that’s up 12 percent from the prior FOX show.
The show ranked No. 4 on cable on Friday behind the MLB playoff game on FS1 and two NBA games on ESPN.
Thurston notes that in comparing numbers on Showbuzz Daily, Friday’s TV competition may have been the toughest in many weeks due to the viewership for the programs in the top 150.
SmackDown featured Brock Lesnar being “suspended” for his actions, a noteworthy title exchange between Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair, and much more.
