– According to today’s WWC TV Show, the following names have been confirmed to work WWC’s LockOut event in December, which will be their last event of 2008: Carlito, Eddie “Primo” Colon, Team 3D, Steve Corino, Glammour Boy Shane, Sabu, Balls Mahoney and Abdullah the Butcher.

– Speaking of Abdullah, WWC is hyping his appearance as his last wrestling appearance or “retirement” match. As always, take this news with a grain of salt since we know how wrestling retirements are.

– During IWA’s TV Show, promoter Edwin Vazquez Ortega was seen watching the video of last week’s Chicano vs Dennis Rivera match. He decided to change the decision of the match to a Chicano win by DQ after interference from Noel Rodriguez. This means that Chicano is still the IWA World Champion.

– Two matches have been confirmed for IWA’s Hardcore Weekend event next week. In the first contest, Chicano will face Dennis Rivera for the IWA World Title inside a steel cage in a rematch from last week. The steel cage stipulation is added to prevent outside interference. In the second match, Savio Vega is set to face The Sheik in a “Cage of Death” Match. The Cage of Death is basically a steel cage match with weapons inside the cage. IWA also said that fans can bring whatever weapon they want and they will be used in the match.
