NJPW News: Rush Likely In For The World Tag League, Taula Fifita & Colby Corino to Start As Young Boys
November 17, 2016 | Posted by
– Rush has no bookings in Mexico for the next several weeks; he will likely be Tetsuya Naito’s mystery partner in the NJPW World Tag League tournament
– New Japan has sold out the December 16th and 17th Korakuen Hall shows. The January 5th show is also sold out.
– The agreement with Revolution Pro & NJPW is that Katsuyori Shibata will defend their title in New Japan.
– New Japan feels it has enough Americans on the roster already and unless regulars leave there probably wouldn’t be openings for anyone new as far as a contracted pushed guy goes.
– Hiku Le’o (Taula Fifita, the son of Haku) and Colby Corino will be coming in as Young Boys, similar to how Cody Hall and David Finlay were brought in.
