WWE Backing off Triple H vs. Ryback Plans?
November 30, 2014 | Posted by
– As was previously reported, WWE officials were reportedly considering the idea of a Triple H vs. Ryback match sometime after the start of the year based on the recent interactions they’ve had on TV. The discussion was to have the match at the Royal Rumble in order to build Ryback up toward a big match at WrestleMania 31.
However, that seems to no longer be the case. The Wrestling Observer reports that officials are cold on the idea of that match after Ryback’s match against Cesaro on Raw, which wasn’t well-received. It’s worth noting that the report says nothing about CM Punk’s comments about him or his reaction on Twitter, so there is no indication these played into the decision.
