Jarred Brooks Steps in to Face Ian McCall at UFC 208

Ian McCall has a new opponent for UFC 208. UFC officials announced today (per MMAjunkie) that, following Neil Seery’s withdrawal from the fight due to the death of his mother-in-law, newcomer Jarred Brooks will step up to face McCall.

McCall has had a history of trying and failing to get fights as of late, and hasn’t fought since January 31st of 2015. He was supposed to return at UFC 201 in July and at UFC 203 after that, but Justin Scoggins’ weight cut issues, and Ray Borg’s falling ill scrapped both of those fights.

UFC 208 takes place on February 11th in Brooklyn, New York and airs on PPV following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.
