What We Do In the Shadows Gets Season Two Premiere Date on FX, Hulu
What We Do In the Shadows is returning for a second season this spring, and will hit both FX and Hulu. During the TCA winter press tour on Thursday (per Deadline), FX Networks announced that the new season of the vampire mockumentary will debute on FX on April 15th at 10 PM ET/PT, with a release on Hulu the next day.
The premiere date will see the first two episodes air, with new episodes weekly after that. The series debuted in March of last year and stars Kayvan Novak, Matt Berry, Natasia Demetriou, Harvey Guillén, and Mark Proksch. It is based on the film by Taiki Waititi and Jermaine Clement and is described as follows:
What We Do in the Shadows is a documentary-style look into the daily (or rather, nightly) lives of four vampires who’ve “lived” together for hundreds of years in Staten Island. After an unexpected visit from their dark lord and leader, the vampires are reminded of what they were initially tasked with upon their arrival in New York City over a century ago — total and complete domination of the New World. But what exactly is the best way to go about achieving said domination? A vérité camera crew.
