The Full Trailer For Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore Features Mads Mikkelsen as Grindelwald

Warner Bros. Pictures has released the full trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, the third film in the prequel series. It also features the first footage of Mads Mikkelsen as Gellert Grindelwald, taking over the role previously portrayed by Johnny Depp. The film also stars Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Jude Law, Jessica Williams and Callum Turner. It was directed by David Yates from a script by JK Rowling and Steve Kloves.

The film takes place years after the last one, The Secrets of Grindelwald. It will be released on April 15, 2022.

Here’s a synopsis: Professor Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) knows the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen) is moving to seize control of the wizarding world. Unable to stop him alone, he entrusts Magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) to lead an intrepid team of wizards, witches and one brave Muggle baker on a dangerous mission, where they encounter old and new beasts and clash with Grindelwald’s growing legion of followers. But with the stakes so high, how long can Dumbledore remain on the sidelines?
