Liv Morgan Retains Women’s World Title With Dominik’s Help At WWE Summerslam
Dominik Mysterio made his choice at WWE Summerslam, helping Liv Morgan defeat Rhea Ripley to retain the Women’s World title. At first, it seemed like Mysterio was on Ripley’s side. He stopped her from using a chair, telling her she couldn’t win the title that way. Morgan took advantage of the distraction and hit Oblivion for two. Later, he shoved the chair back into the ring and distracted the referee, allowing Morgan to hit another Oblivion, on the chair, for the win.
After the match, he helped Morgan up and kissed her, officially turning on Ripley.
Morgan has been the champion for 70 days and is in her second reign. She won the title at King and Queen of the Ring on May 25.
