Vince McMahon Preparing To Launch Entertainment Company
Vince McMahon is in the process of launching a new company after stepping down from all his positions at TKO due to the Janel Grant lawsuit.
PWInsider reports that this new venture is being described as an “entertainment hub company” that aims to finance, develop, and produce both film and television projects. The company is expected to be located in the Los Angeles area.
Several former WWE stars are collaborating with McMahon to get this company off the ground, with plans to reveal it once his legal matters are settled.
Kevin Dunn is not part of this company. Kristen Prouty and Brad Blum, who previously served as WWE’s Chief Operating Officer, are involved in the project. He joined WWE in 2006 but left after McMahon’s first retirement, before returning and leaving again earlier this year. Prouty previously acted as WWE’s connection to Hollywood. She joined WWE in 2005 after being the original casting director for the first Diva Search but was let go earlier this year.
Unlike WWE, this company will not focus on wrestling but will instead concentrate on various fiction and non-fiction productions.
