New Tron: Ares Trailer Brings the Action To the Real World

Tron: Ares sees the franchise busting out of digital space, and the new trailer previews what’s to come. Disney released the new trailer for the sequel on Thursday, and you can check it out in full below.

The trailer, set to a new Nine Inch Nails song, teases the arrival of a new Program named Areas, who is commissioned for use in real-world military missions. This appears to go about as well as that ever goes in AI movies, and plenty of visually-dynamic mayhem follows.

Tron: Ares is set to release on October 10th. Directed by Joachim Rønning, it stars Jared Leto, Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Hasan Minhaj, Jodie Turner-Smith, Arturo Castro, Cameron Monaghan, Gillian Anderson, and Jeff Bridges. It is described as follows:
