Riho is back on AEW Dynamite, with the first Women’s World Champion setting her sights on Mercedes Mone. Wednesday night’s show saw Mone defeat Alex Windsor to retain the TBS Championship, after which Riho came down to the ring.
The post-match angle saw Windsor attack Mone after the champion refused to shake her hand. Mone got the upper hand and put Windsor in the Statement Maker, but Riho then came out to the ring and took out Mone with a double stomp. She then hit a basement dropkick to send Mone to the floor.
Riho last competed on the July 6th, 2024 episode of AEW Collision. She was the first-ever AEW Women’s World Champion, holding the title for 133 days.
