New Women’s Tag Team Champions Crowned On WWE Raw
We have new Women’s Tag Team Champions following the main event match on this week’s WWE Raw. The Kabuki Warriors defeated Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair on Monday Night’s show to win the titles. Asuka and Kairi Sane got an assist by Lash Legend and Nia Jax, who came down to the ring and pulled Sane out of a Figure Eight Leglock. They then attacked Bliss on the outside and left Flair to be taken out by Asuka and Sane, with an Insane Elbow getting the win.
After the match, the four assaulted Flair and Bliss until IYO SKY came down for the save. Eventually the numbers game became too much until Rhea Ripley made her return. She joined up with SKY, Flair, and Bliss in taking out the two heel teams. Ripley then got a mic and yelled “WARGAMES!” to announce our women’s WarGames match for Survivor Series.
Ripley has been off TV since suffering a broken nose at a WWE Supershow in Japan back in mid-October.
This marks The Kabuki Warriors’ third reign as a team. Flair and Bliss’ reign ends at 101 days, having won the titles at SummerSlam from Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez.
You can see highlights from the match and post-match chaos below.
