Roman Reigns and CM Punk Appear Together at Zootopia 2 Premiere

In the ring, CM Punk and Roman Reigns have periodically had an uneasy alliance. On the big screen, they will be playing zebra cop partners in Zootopia 2. As revealed in official artwork, the Reigns zebra will wear a familiar looking flak vest. The Punk zebra, meanwhile, will have a light streak in his hair as Punk did early in his career.

Still, in the voice-over booth, costars might never need to see each other or even coexist peacefully. Ironically, that is the the theme of Zootopia: a city in which all animals can successfully live together without the law of the jungle taking over. Punk and Reigns, however, did show up for photos together at the premiere in spiffy suits, though the Tribal Chief had no time for a tie.

Reigns still bears a vaguely peeved expression that he has to mingle with underlings. Punk, however, seems like he’s trying to stay serious but can’t entirely contain his inner fanboy at being in a major cartoon.

Both men have prior acting experience. Reigns most notably appeared with his cousin Dwayne Johnson in Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw. Punk, who has done mostly indie movies, is best known as an actor for his work on TV’s Heels, playing a wrestler named Rickie Rabies.
