Note On Triller’s Relationship With Independent Companies After NASDAQ Delisting

Triller was recently delisted from NASDAQ, and a new report has notes on their relationship with independent promotions following the development. As noted at the start of the year, NASDAQ delisted the company after it failed to make necessary filings by December 24th. Triller TV is the streaming and PPV home for a number of independent promotions, and Fightful Select reports that it doesn’t seem as if those companies think they will be affected by the matter.
Triller’s largest independent promotion partner is arguably GCW. The outlet reports that GCW has told them they got paid before the start of the year and that the Triller TV side of things appears to be healthy right now.
It was reported in May of last year that the Triller was in financial trouble. Fightful Select reports that independent companies outside of GCW suspected that the parent company was insolvent and was taking revenue from Triller TV to pay bills for the rest of the company. It was believed for a long time that much of the model was based on the belief that TikTok would end up being banned, which did not end up happening.
Triller TV+ is still running as normal as of now.
