Mercedes Mone Set For Title Defense On All-Women’s CMLL La Noche De Las Amazonas

Mercedes Mone will defend her CMLL World Women’s Title at the company’s La Noche De Las Amazonas all-women’s show next month. CMLL announced that the AEW star will return to CMLL to defend her championship at La Noche De Las Amazonas, which takes place on March 6th. Her opponent has yet to be named as of this writing.
Mone has been CMLL Women’s World Champion for 181 days as of this writing. She captured the title from Zeuxis at AEW Grand Slam Mexico on June 18th, 2025 in Mexico City. Since then she has defended the title three times. Her first defense was against La Catalina at CMLL/NJPW Fantastica Mania Mexico 2025, her second came against Persephone on the October 17th episode of Viernes Espectacular, and the third was a win over Olympia on the October 29th episode of AEW Collision.
In addition, it has been announced that Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford will be competing at the event in their CMLL debuts. The two will team up under their MegaBad name, though no opponents have been announced for them at this time.
The matches are the first announced for La Noche De Las Amazonas, which takes place at Arena Mexico in Mexico City.
