AAA announced a huge World Cruiserweight Title match set for later this weekend for AAA on FOX in Latin America. Laredo Kid will defend his AAA World Cruiserweight Title against former WWE Cruiserweight Champion TJ Perkins (aka TJP).
TJ Perkins earned the title shot against Laredo Kid after winning a No. 1 Contenders Fatal 4-Way bout on the January 31 edition of AAA on FOX. The bout also featured Chris Carter, Elio LeFleur, and Mini Vikingo.
This weekend’s AAA on FOX will air on FOX and FOX One in Mexico and Central America at 8:00 pm. It will also be available starting on 10:00 after the soccer match on FOX Tubi. Viewers in South America, except Brazil, will be able to stream the show on YouTube Fox.
Perkins previously won the 2016 Cruiserweight Classic, becoming the inaugural champion of WWE’s new Cruiserweight Title. Laredo Kid has held the AAA World Cruiserweight Title for over 430 days, winning it in December 2024 at Cierre De La Gira Origenes.
