Jelly Roll Scores First Victory, Defeats Kit Wilson On WWE Smackdown
Jelly Roll has his first taste of victory in WWE, defeating Kit Wilson on this week’s episode of WWE Smackdown. The musician competed in singles competition against Wilson on Friday’s episode. The match was set up on last week’s show when Wilson called out Jelly Roll and things got physical after Roll took a shot at Wilson’s mother during their slam poetry battle.
Before the match, Wilson managed to get himself cursed by Danhausen. The match itself saw Wilson take over after an initial run by Jelly Roll. The latter man eventually countered a Turn E Kit and hit a chokeslam to secure his victory. You can see highlights below from Friday night’s match.
Jelly Roll previously made his WWE in-ring debut at SummerSlam 2025 when he teamed up with Randy Orton to take on Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul. McIntyre and Paul got the win, with Roll taking the pinfall loss. Tonight’s WWE Smackdown marked his first singles match.
