Update on Will Washington and Aubrey Edwards’ AEW Status

AEW’s Unrestricted podcast just aired its final episode, but don’t despair if your a fan of the hosts. They won’t be going anywhere. Fightful Select has confirmed that both Will Washington and Aubrey Edwards are still with AEW.

On Instagram, Edwards also confirmed that this is just the end of “one of the few projects” she has at AEW. While she admits to being sad the show is over, she also notes, “Now I get those precious few hours back every week to put into being the best referee I can be.”

“Today we released the last episode of the AEW Unrestricted podcast. I’ve been crying on and off about it for a few weeks, but I’m smiling listening to it this morning. It’s incredibly bittersweet, as I’m not going anywhere.”

Fightful Select also adds that they’ve confirmed Edwards is firmly under contract. As one of AEW’s best-known refs by name, and a seven-year veteran of the company, she’d be more than just a podcast loss if they didn’t re-sign her.
