Update On WWE’s Plans For EK Prosper Ring Name

A new report has the details on which talent will use the ring name “EK Prosper” after WWE filed a trademark application for it. WWE filed the trademark application on March 31st for the name, describing the trademark with the same terminology used for ring names. At the time, it was not clear who the name was for.
According to Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select, the name is for Eli Knight, who is a member of the NXT roster. The outlet reports that the belief inside WWE was that Eli Knight was too similar of a name to LA Knight, especially since LA Knight used to go by the name of Eli Drake.
Eli Knight joined the WWE ID system in October of last year and began competing on WWE EVOLVE. He was signed to an NXT deal in January and moved to NXT. He is set to be part of the 10-man tag team match on the pre-show for NXT Stand & Deliver this weekend as he tags with
Hank & Tank, Shiloh Hill, and Wren Sinclair against Birthright’s Lexis King, Stacks, Charlie Dempsey, Uriah Connors, and Arianna Grace.
