Veteran WWE executive Bruce Prichard has been away from the company since WrestleMania 42. While there has been no official announcement regarding his ongoing hiatus, a new report sheds light on the reason behind his absence and his potential return.
In this week’s issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (WON), Dave Meltzer reported that Prichard has been away from the company since The Show of Shows in Las Vegas this April due to back issues. However, Meltzer added that Prichard’s return is imminent and that he has dropped a lot of weight during the hiatus. However, the report didn’t reveal the exact date of his return.
Bruce Prichard is one of the most influential WWE personalities behind the scenes, having worked for the company over several decades under both Vince McMahon and current Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque. He is currently the Executive Director of Creative Writing and Talent, and the 63-year-old Texan plays a key role in shaping storylines and the overall creative process.
