Chelsea Green has responded to social media speculation about her political beliefs, saying she is not affiliated with MAGA and identifying herself as “a liberal/democrat” who supports equal human rights.

The WWE star addressed the topic on X after receiving criticism for Friday’s SmackDown episode. The discussion began after Green and Tiffany Stratton recreated the viral Sophia Cunningham pointing meme during a backstage segment. In the skit, the pair pointed at Michin, Jade Cargill, and B-Fab.

The meme has drawn attention online in recent weeks because some social media users have associated it with MAGA and political debates surrounding Cunningham. Following the segment, some fans accused Green of supporting MAGA and U.S. President Donald Trump.

Green responded directly to those claims on X, saying she was speaking out to correct what she described as misinformation.

“I can handle you saying things about my looks or my talent but what you won’t do is spread lies about my political views. Since you’re so interested in spreading misinformation, here are the facts:
– I am a Canadian citizen
– I can’t vote in America
– I am not MAGA
– I am a liberal / democrat
– When I become a citizen, I will vote for a president who believes in equal human rights”

In the past, Green has said that when she speaks about human rights, she is talking about equality rather than politics. She has also expressed support for the LGBTQ+ community and said her stance against racism has never changed.
