Billy Corgan Is Grateful For WWE’s Support Of NWA, Says They’ve Treated Him Like ‘Gold’

Billy Corgan says he’s grateful for how supportive WWE has been toward the NWA, singling out Triple H and Nick Khan for treating him well. WWE has permitted Nattie to appear on NWA shows, something Corgan spoke about during an appearance on Busted Open Radio.

“Of course, thank you, Nick Khan and Triple H,” Corgan said (per Wrestling Inc). “Their support of the NWA is mind-blowing to me. Of course, WWE is the industry leader; they drive most of the conversation … but behind the scenes, WWE has treated me like gold.”

He continued, “I have nothing but praise for them; they’ve just been amazing with me. … Maybe that’s just, at the end of the day, Triple H being a fan of old-school NWA. It means something to him that the NWA’s come back, too.”

Nattie is set to compete at NWA 78 on July 25th. She last appeared in the NWA at the 2025 Crockett Cup, where she challenged Kenzie Paige for the NWA World Women’s Championship. Billy Corgan has been in charge of the NWA since he acquired the promotion in 2017.
