Randy Orton was pulled from his autograph and photo ops at Fanatics Fest, but that doesn’t mean that he won’t be at the convention per a new report. Orton was originally announced for signings and photo opportunities at this weekend’s convention, but was pulled from them late last month without a reason given.
According to Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select, Orton is still expected to be in New York City for Fanatics Fest, per sources in WWE. The report notes that people at Fanatics are also expecting that Orton will be in attendance.
Randy Orton has not been seen on WWE TV since WrestleMania 42. The Legend Killer lost his Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes, then attacked him after the match. He has pushed back on reports that he is injured and said on social media that he was “trying to enjoy my summer before I come back and take that #15.”
There is no word as of now on when we might see Orton on WWE TV next. WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event takes place this weekend in New York City, with WWE SummerSlam taking place on August 1st and 2nd at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
