New Day Considered ‘Very Likely’ to Appear at AEW All In

At AEW All In at Wembley Stadium in London, on August 30th, the Tag Team Trios Championship will be defended in a multi-trios match. It’s a good way to get a lot of the talent on the card, but as of yet, we still don’t know who any of the contenders will be. Could former WWE Superstars and tag champs, The New Day, finally appear at the event?

Champions Hangman Adam Page and Brodido (Brody King and Bandido) issued an open challenge on this week’s Dynamite, following a massive brawl. Those who participated in the brawl — The Demand, The Dogs, The Conglomeration, and The Lethal Swirl — are expected to be in the mix.

Dave Meltzer also mentioned the Bang Bang Gang and the Don Callis Family (any three members) as possibilities. However, Swerve Strickland seemed interested in the match, and one of the rumors has been that he could team up with former WWE champions The New Day: Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods.

In the latest Fightful Select Answers Q&A, Sean Ross Sapp affirms the New Day rumor as “very likely.” He adds that as of last week, they are not signed with AEW, but everybody expects them to join. It seems a lot of the talent want to see them come over, as there are plenty of tag team dream matches to be had for the duo.
