WWE Reportedly Doing Work For Next 2K Game At Royal Rumble

WWE is getting ready for the next WWE 2K game, with work set to be done at today’s Royal Rumble event. PWInsider reports that representatives from 2K Games are in Tampa today at the ThunderDome where the Royal Rumble will be held, with talent recording voiceover for the next edition. There are also plans to scan “most of, if not the entire” WWE roster according to the site for including in upcoming iterations of the series.
The WWE 2K franchise took a break last year, with WWE 2K21 being cancelled following the backlash against WWE 2K20. Instead the company released 2K Battlegrounds for 2020 while they spent more time developing the core franchise.
