BJ Penn Caught on Video in Apparent Bar Fight in Hawaii
BJ Penn has been caught on camera in what appears to be a bar fight in Hawaii. TMZ reports that the UFC Hall of Famer got into a fight with another man at the Lava Shack in Hawaii. The site reports that police responded to the scene, though Penn was not arrested.
In the video, which you can see below, Penn is seen in a full back mount raining punches onto the other man’s head. Several men in security shirts move in to try and break the fight up. According to somone close to Pnn, he felt that the other man had been following him and attempting to bait him into a fight, and that “This guy is notorious for taunting BJ.” An earlier video, also seen below, sees the two men scuffling until Penn takes a shot and gets knocked down. Penn re-engaged the man after being helped up and knocked him down. The other man told TMZ it was a “cheap shot” that resulted in him being knocked down.
Penn is set for one more fight for the UFC against Nik Lentz, though the bout has not yet had a date or venue announced.
