Kevin Casey Signs With Bellator – Will Make Debut At Bellator 170
Kevin Casey (9-5-1) revealed on Instagram that he has signed with Bellator MMA and will debut at Bellator 170. The event happens on January 21 at The Forum in Inglewood, California. Casey’s opponent has not been revealed.
Casey has a black belt from Rickson Gracie. He made his debut in 2007 with a TKO loss to Ikuhisa Minowa. He debuted for Strikeforce in 2009, losing via TKO to Matt Lindland. He qualified for The Ultimate Fighter 17 and won in the qualifying round but was eliminated in the next round. At the live finale, he lost by TKO to Josh Samman. He then got three wins in RFA but during his return to the UFC he had only one win and two no-contests, followed by losses to Sam Alvey and Rafael Natal, with a split decision win over Elvis Mutapcic. He was then dropped from the UFC roster.
