Krzysztof Jotko Challenges Sage Northcutt To Breakdance Battle

October 26, 2015 | Posted by Joseph Lee

In an interview with MMA Junkie, Krzysztof Jotko (16-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) challenged Sage Northcutt to a breakdance battle. After his win over Scott Askham (13-2 MMA, 1-2 UFC) at UFC Fight Night 76, he began to breakdance. This drew comparisons to Northcutt, who did a flip after his own win over Francisco Trevino at UFC 192. Here are highlights:

On how bloody the fight was: “Yes, it was probably the bloodiest fight in my career. I’m not satisfied with the fight, but I’m glad that I won.”

On being disappointed with the fight: “I would like to have had more striking in the fight, but I couldn’t find the right distance. A lot of shots didn’t land. After Askham got tired, he was just clinching, so there was a lot of clinching and holding and not a lot of punching. I’d like some more punching next time.”

On Northcutt’s flip: “I didn’t see Northcutt doing a breakdance. But if he wants to compete in a breakdance battle, I’m down for it. I’m ready to battle.”
