Michael Page Says He Had More Planned For Undertaker-Themed UFC 299 Entrance

Michael “Venom” Page came out to an Undertaker-themed entrance at UFC 299, and he says he had more planned for the walkout. Paige paid tribute to the WWE Hall of Famer with the entrance for his fight against Kevin Holland, who he defeated by decision. Speaking after the match, he said that there was more planned but that the UFC had him tone it down.

“To be fair, we had quite a bit more,” Page noted (per Fightful). “It would have been even more entertaining. UFC was like, ‘Calm down, it’s your first one.’ We had to strip it back a little bit.”

He continued, “I just like to make it a show. It helps me. It helps me relax when I’m putting on a show. It helps the time fly by and me have the best time ever. When I’m in that mode, I feel I’m the most dangerous.”
